Aeromexico Planes Arrive in Tocumen Panama City

Aeromexico in Panama marks a key step in expanding air connectivity between Mexico and Central America. The airline recently resumed its direct route between Mexico City and Panama City, significantly boosting tourism, commerce, and diplomatic relations between both nations.  The inaugural flight was welcomed at Tocumen International Airport with a water salute and warm ceremonies. Authorities from Panama’s Tourism Authority (ATP) and Aeromexico leadership emphasized the strategic importance of this route for business and leisure travel. The service will operate with a Boeing 737 aircraft, providing high-quality travel experiences and reinforcing Panama as a regional hub.  In the middle of Panama’s efforts to grow its tourism sector, Aeromexico’s return is expected to support hotel occupancy and increase visitor spending.
