Panama Informs: An International Edition of the ‘Carnival Festival’ will happen in 2026

Panama City, Panama: The capital’s mayor, Mayer Mizrachi, announced through his social networks that the “Carnival Festival” will have a second edition next year and that this time it will be international in nature. “We officially announce the 2026 International Carnival Festival,” Mizrachi posted on his social media account X.

According to the Mayor’s Office of Panama, the first edition of the festival exceeded all expectations, becoming a high-impact event for the city. It is estimated that more than 150 thousand people attended the celebration, generating nearly 30 million dollars in the circular economy.

The organization highlighted that the event reaffirmed the potential of tourism and entertainment in the country, and thanked the support of the security forces of the National Government, as well as the confidence of private companies that supported the initiative. It also recognized the participation of artists and micro-entrepreneurs, who contributed to the success of the celebration.
