One of the most anticipated events of the year is just around the corner, the parade of the Mil Polleras, January 11 which is held every year in the historic town of Las Tablas in the province of Los Santos during the month of January 2025. The Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) has opened registration for delegations and the press. Those interested have until December 15 to register through the website: atp.gob.pa.
This activity seeks to promote la pollera in its different modalities to delight the public and to have Panamanian women feel proud of wearing one of the most beautiful typical dresses in the world. Every year, between 250,000 and 300,000 visitors visit the Azuero region, which represents important economic activity. The Mil Polleras Parade also seeks to honor the work of Panamanian artisans, who are dedicated to making the national typical costume (the pollera), considered one of the most beautiful on the planet.
From January 8th to 19th, Boquete becomes the heart of culture, fun and tradition in Panama called the Boquete Coffee and Flower Festival. Experience the magic.
