The US Imposed Sanctions on 7 Panamanian-Flagged Vessels
The Panamanian-flagged vessels that were included in the list on Tuesday are Black Panther, Fiona II, Lara II, Lioness, Merope, Tonil and Verónica III.
For allegedly facilitating the transport of Iranian oil to international markets, the United States has imposed sanctions on a Panama-registered corporation and seven Panamanian-flagged vessels. In total, the Treasury included 21 vessels and 14 corporations from different countries on the sanctions list of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), which prohibits U.S. citizens and entities from conducting commercial, financial or business transactions with any of those included on it.
