Fuel prices edge down on Friday
The Ministry of Energy reported that there will be new fuel prices from this Friday, June 16.
95 octane gasoline will drop in price by one cent, leaving it at one dollar and four cents per liter. 91 octane gasoline will drop one cent to 97 cents per liter.
Low sulfur diesel will also drop a penny, ending at 84 cents a liter.
The prices will apply until 5:59 a.m. June 30.
With the new prices, the savings per subsidized gallon in the 91-octane fuel will be 69 cents.
And in the gallon of diesel the savings would be seven cents. A gallon of 91 octane gasoline and subsidized diesel are 3 dollars and 25 cents.
The government approved extending the validity of the fuel price to $3.25 until July 15.
