Attorney General responds to questions about missing girl

Attorney General, Javier Caraballo, responded on Friday afternoon to questions by relatives of disappeared nine-year-old Aderlyn Mallenis Llerena Saldaña regarding the course of the case.

Caraballo said that a video was part of the evidence that the San Miguelito prosecutor’s office has regarding the course of the case,  but stressed that it is not a clear video.

“On the contrary, the image is quite blurry, and different people when seeing it have different criteria or different theories regarding it. But up to now, they are theories,” Caraballo said.

Regarding the importance given by the prosecution to these elements, Caraballo pointed out that changes have been made within it to strengthen investigations of the case.

In recent days, the relatives and neighbors of the girl expressed their annoyance, assuring that they have tried to communicate with the entity and request their presence. When they did not get answers, they decided to close the four lanes of the North Corridor to and from Villa Lucre.

A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information about the disappearance six months ago.
