Another mass shooting in California

 

At least three people died and four were injured on Saturday in a shooting in an upper-class neighborhood in the US city of Los Angeles, local police reported.

The shooting occurred in the middle of the night, at 2:50 a.m. (local time), in the Beverly Crest neighborhood, right next to the popular area of Beverly Hills.

Of the seven people who were shot, four were outside a home and three (the deceased) were inside a vehicle, police reported.

According to NBC, two of the fatalities were men and one was a woman. Of the injured, three were men and one was a woman.

Police indicated that the injured are in serious condition and were transported to a hospital at the University of California (UCLA).

According to local television shows, such as ABC, several agents are at the scene and placed yellow tape around the area to prevent pedestrians from entering the area where the event occurred.

The motives and circumstances that led to the shooting are unknown.
