Covid-19 infections  continue to surge

Panama registered 2,117 new infections of covid-19 on Thursday. The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that 11,503 tests were applied for a positivity of 18.4%. Active cases in the country reached 9,669; Those hospitalized add up to 109 in the Ward and 16 in the ICU. The districts with the highest incidence of cases are Juan Díaz (77); San Francisco (72), Chitre (65), and Rufina Alfaro (63).
