Panama covid cases on downward path

There were 5 deaths, from covid 19 on Sunday, March 13 which brings the total number of deaths from the disease to 8,137  but the number of new cases and hospitalizations continues to fall and tests registered a positivity of 4.1%. There were 175 new infections

According to the Health Ministry (Minsa) epidemiological report, there are 2,710 active cases, of which are  125 hospitalized,109 in wards and 16 in intensive care.

Vaccination
On  Sunday, the Minsa Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) announced that a total of 7,754,947 anticovid vaccines have been applied in the country since the process began in January of last year.

Of this total, 3,390,748 were first doses, 2,974,360 second doses and 1,378,923 booster doses and 261,687 doses of the Pfizer pediatric vaccine have been applied throughout the country.
