954,232 students head back to classrooms

 

Panama students returned to their classrooms on Monday, March 7, after being closed for two years due to pandemic, which forced the teaching-learning process to take place virtually.

From very early in the morning, hundreds of parents of families arrived with their children at the different educational establishments in the country, under strict biosafety protocols, both in the educational classrooms and in the school buses that must transport them reports La Estrella. For school year 2022, there is an enrollment of 954,232 students  with over 800,400 heading to public schools and 135,000 to the private sector.
