Vaccinated Patients at Figali Center Have Fewer Complications

Due to the impact of vaccination against the coronavirus, the scenario in the Figali Covid-19 patient assistance center is different compared to the other three waves said Sharomay Osma, medical director on Monday, January 24.

Patients who have received their vaccines to counteract Covid-19 have fewer complications than those who do not have any doses and the unvaccinated who arrive at the center develop more serious situations in their state of health.

The official assured that 90% of the 1,300 patients who received care at Figali, which began operating in 2020, have recovered.

Since the beginning of the year the majority of patients admitted to the center range between the ages of 40 and 55 years.
