1,876 traffic tickets in Operation Road Safety
the National Police handed out 1,876 tickets in operation “Road Safety” on Saturday, October 10
They included 718 for speeding,57 for proven intoxication and 17 for talking on the cell phone.
The operation also led to the arrest of 123 were of which 72 wanted for major crimes 26 for minor crimes and 19 for drug trafficking
They also carried out 12 raids, seized nine drug packagesand four firearms and recovered a vehicle
