Humanirarian flight heads for Israel
Panama’s long stream of humanitarian flights transporting foreign citizens to their home countries continues with Israel the latest destination
The latest on Thursday, June 18, saw more than 150 Israeli passengers boarding a plane to return home, after being stranded in several nearby countries due to the coronavirus pandemic.
An El Al Airlines plane departed for the Israeli city of Tel Aviv with a total of 176 repatriated passengers.
The flight was achieved with the coordination of the Israeli embassies in Panama, Costa Rica, and Colombia, in conjunction with the Isthmus authorities.
