Coronavirus infections at 16,424 with 393 deaths
Deaths from coronavirus in Panama reached 393 on Sunday, June 7 and 421 new cases brought the total number of recorded infections to 16,424,
The Ministry of Health, reports that 5,393 people are in home isolation, 667 are in hotels, 337 are in wards, and 84 in intensive care.
77,592 tests have been carried out, including 1,589 on Sunday.
The Minister of Health, Rosario Turner, said that 93% of tht more than 5,000 cases verified in the last 14 days, are in hospital or hotel isolation.
