Deep cleansing at agricultural market after virus infections announcement

 

Merca Panamá, the largest agricultural market  ​​in the capital city will undergo “deep cleansing” on Saturday, April 18 after the Ministry of Health (Minsa), announced they were notified “of several positive cases of COVID-19 in the facilities del Mercado ”, located on the access road to the Centenario bridge.

Without specifying the number of positive cases and in which areas s the contagions were identified, Merca’s management reported that the infected people and their direct contacts in the agricultural center following the protocols established by the Minsa.

Merca Panamá will attend the public until 5 pm Friday and will be closed on Saturday, April 18 to carry out deep cleaning of the facilities of the agricultural compound, the state entity said in a statement.
