Virus stymies plans for ex-Sussex royals Malibu party
The Coronavirus pandemic lockdown has put a crimp in the plans of Prince Harry and his actress wife Meghan Markle to hold a large scale celebration marking their escape from the bonds of royalty and the first birthday on May 6 of their son Archie.
UK tabloid reports say that the prince has suffered from being away from his family during the virus crisis . His father, Prince Charles, was one of those affected but managed to successfully overcome the disease, which has killed hundreds in the UK and hospitalized 12,000 including Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The pandemic that keeps the world in check and without social interactions will make “Archie celebrate his first birthday alone with his parents.”
Enrique and Meghan, who rent a $20 million mansion in Malibu overlooking the ocean, revealed last week to the British newspaper The Telegraph details of the upcoming launch of what will be their future charity, which they will call “Archewell”
With this project, the couple intends to work together with other groups and support entities and market products under that new name, as they are no longer allowed to use the name “Sussex Royal”
Since the marriage formally broke with the royal house, both have tried to focus their business on the US. where Markle has previously worked as an actress.
