Priests fingered in Panama sex scandal climbs to six
The number of priests involved in the sex scandal that has rocked the Catholic church in Panama has risen to six, four Panamanians and two foreigners.

It is unknown if the Catholic Church has taken any action to investigate the actions of the priests or punish them for committing offenses. Nor has it been confirmed whether there were cases of abuse of minors.
The Archdiocese of Panama has issued a statement declaring that it is unaware of any accusation filed against its presbyters.
“We reiterate our position of zero tolerance for any kind of abuse, especially of minors and vulnerable people,” says the Archdiocese in a statement.
So far, the Archdiocese three priests Rogelio Topin, Orlando Rivera and Karl Madrid have been suspended from their priestly duties.
