Free electric bus service extends hours
The electric bus service that is part of the Panama Mayor’s Office mobility project has extended the hours of service on the route from Plaza Cinco de Mayo to Casco Viejo, a key tourist destination in Panama City
The municipality authorities reiterated that the transport is free and includes eight stops, on the route.
“This vehicle is operated by the MiBus company, from Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 9:35 am; while in the afternoon the schedule is from 1:40 pm to 5:45 pm, “said a statement. Previously it started at 6:15 am and ended at 5:15 pm.
Some 50,000 users benefit from the operation of the electric bus which carries 40 passengers says the mayor’s office.
