Multi-flavored sexual stimulation tablets siezed at Tocumen
A shipment of sexual stimulation drug “sildenacil”, multi-flavored tablets and gel, has been seized by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) at Tocumen Airport, for not having a current sanitary record.
In total, 18,000 tablets and 8,000 in sildenafil gel were confiscated, with grape, strawberry and lemon flavors, which came from India.
Elvia Lau, director of Pharmacies and Drugs of the Minsa, said that the medicines will be destroyed although they have not expired because they cannot be commercialized in Panama, as, they do not have sanitary registration.
