Severely burned mother follows son to US for treatment
The severely burned young Venezuelan Karina Lima, one of three victims of the gas explosion in the PH Costa Mare, in Don Bosco was transferred on Thursday night from Santo Tomás Hospital to Galveston, Texas.
One of her two children a boy aged 4, was transferred earlier in the week. A 10-month- month old child died from his injuries.
An ambulance of Sume 911 took her to Marcos A. Gelabert, Airport in Albrook, where an ambulance plane was waiting to take her to the John Sealy Hospital, where she will be treated for burns that cover 90% of her body.
