Panic as shots fired near Supreme Court
Shooting at Supreme Court precedes gang trial There was panic on the steps of Panama’s Supreme Court on Thursday morning as shots were fired from a sedan at a man on the sidewalk.
The incident took place at the time of a scheduled gang trial.in in the Second Court. , which was suspended.
The National Police confirmed that they have already identified two people who were in the vehicle, from a Calle 50 rental location. and allegedly fired the shots. During an escape attempt, they collided with a State vehicle.
Security cameras l in the area of the Court captured the vehicle involved in the event.
Court authorities said it was business as usual inside the Supreme Court building but with heightened security.
