Roma star in Panama for Festival screening
Oscar nominee Yalitza Aparicio, the lead actor in the multiple award-winning movie “Roma” will be a special guest at Panama’s International Film Festival (IFF) along with production designer, Eugenio Caballero.
Alfonso Cuarón’s masterpiece will be on the big screen at the eighth running of the festival. April 4-10, which continues to grow in stature.

This film portrays the life of Cleo, a domestic employee in a disintegrating middle-class family as the father leaves and eventually separates from his family, where Cleo remains as the backbone emotionally supporting the four children of the family.
Yalitza Aparicio is a, from Oaxaca, Mexico, who made her debut film in Roma and is the first indigenous woman, the fourth Latina and the second Mexican woman to receive an Oscar nomination for best actress.
