De Niro’s f***k Trump apology to Trudeau

Hollywood legend Robert De Niro, who starred in the movie Hands of Stone featuring legendary Panamanian boxer, Roberto Duran got cheers and a standing ovation at the Tony Awards in New York on Sunday, June 10, after apologizing for President Donald Trump’s insults to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

De Niro, 74, participated in the ceremony of the biggest prizes of American theater to introduce a show by  rock legend Bruce Springsteen.

“I’m going to say one thing: fuck Trump!” De Niro said, raising both fists in the air.

The crowd at the Radio City Music Hall in New York began to cheer, and then gave him a standing ovation

“It’s not ‘Down with Trump!’, It’s fuck Trump!” De Niro said.

Trudeau’s father Pierre  Trudeau when Prime Minister of Canada was famously said to have used the”f” word in Canada’s House of Commons, but Hansard, which records the proceedings printed “fuddle duddle” which has become a Canadian expression.
