48-hour tropical disturbance warning
A 48-hour tropical disturbance warning was issued by the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) on Thursday, June 7.
The storm wave is located in the Caribbean basin, between the coasts of Colombia and Venezuela, moving at a speed of 27km / h, with the possibility of unstable atmospheric conditions for Panama, according to a report issued by ETESA Hydrometeorology.
According to the report, the increase in cloud cover is expected on the capital and surrounding areas, rains with greater intensity in the Central provinces, Chiriquí, Darién and Bocas del Toro until the early hours of the night.
In the early hours of Friday, widespread storms are expected over the whole country, in addition to possible electric shocks in the maritime area of both coasts, with greater intensity in the Caribbean.
