Carols by Candlelight ticket delivery underway

DELIVERIES of “tickets” in the shape of numbered LED souvenir candles is underway for the 7th annual Carols by Candlelight Concert on the Cinta Costera on Saturday, Dec 2, with over 450 reservations already spoken for
The event, organized by the CanadaPLUS Foundation is free for those who wish to bring their own seats or sit on the perimeter of the Amphitheatre at the Mirador del Pacifico, near the flower clock.
But if you want to be nearer the stage for the performance of five choirs and Opera Panama soloist Susan Samudio you can get a reserved seat including a souvenir candle for $20, or $25 VIP. Otherwise, you can get souvenir candles at $5 or $10. (The $10 candle makes a great addition to your Christmas decoration and lasts up to 50 hours).
All donations are tax-deductible and the Foundation is striving to raise funds to purchase equipment for the Hospital del Nino.
Audience members become part of the biggest choir in Panama as they are invited to join the performers in singing seasonable favorites from the illustrated bi-lingual songbook.
Copies of the free book are available in Crepes and Waffles, Felipe Motta, Marbella, and numerous Arrocha stores.
Extra copies for church or community groups are available.
