Boating alert for wet and windy week ahead

PANAMA’S Maritime Authority (AMP),  has issued an alert to operators  of outboard motor boats and pleasure craft to be on the alert and take extra precutions when navigating Panama’s Atlantic and Pacific seaboards.

The warning follows   information issued by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of a low-pressure system that could be formed during the week, bringing an increase in rains, winds and waves.
