Transparency International new president
ARGENTINA’S Delia Matilde Ferreira Rubio was elected as the new president of corruption fighting Transparency International (TI), at the annual meeting in Berlin on Sunday, October 15. TI Panama plays an active role in local civil society.
Rueben Lifuka, from Zambia was named Vice President.

She advised the Constitution Committees of Argentina’s House of Representatives and the Senate.
She holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and is the author of numerous publications on democratic culture and parliamentary ethics.
Rueben Lifuka is from Zambia and is an architect and environmental consultant. He is the founder and director of Dialogue Africa and president of the National Council of Government of the process of the African Peer Review Mechanism in Zambia.
He was appointed by the President of Zambia to the technical committee responsible for drafting the country’s new Constitution.
