PANAMANIAN Singer-songwriter Erika Ender received the key to the City of Panama from Mayor José Isabel Blandón Monday on Monday May 22 at a ceremony in the Gorgas Institute.
She is celebrating her 25th year in music and has decided to start a new Project: Talenpro (Talent with Purpose), the new program of the Open Doors Foundation, to give you Exposure, training and recognition to young people, raising awareness of how talent positively impacts the country. Ender, 42, will be the youngest composer to enter the Latin Composers Hall of Fame, on October 19. Her most recent success is Despacito, which she co-wrote with Luis Fonsi, and was performed by Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. It has remained for more than 12 weeks in the lists of the Billboard magazine and in the first Places of iTunes and Spotify. It is the only Latin American song that has been placed in # 1 Global.
