New homes for over 300 families

THURSDAY, May 18,  was good news day for over 300 families in Cocle Province as President Juan Carlos Varela, handed over the keys of their new homes.

The dwellings  in the El Roble and Pocrí settlements, in Aguadulce, carried a price tag of $7.8 million dollars.

The first delivery was 300 apartments of the Villa Bello Horizonte project, in El Roble de Aguadulce, at a cost of $1, 637 437.

Each of these projects has been tendered with transparency. With a responsible management of state funds and based on social criteria, without requiring anything in return from  each of the beneficiaries, “said Varela.

Aditionally  with an investment of $2,971,050 the community received 168 houses from the Ceilings of Hope program, which benefited more than 840 children and adults.

Another completed  project culminated by MIVIOT was the ‘Urbanization Los Girasoles’ with 103 homes at a cost of $3,219,630.

 

Varela  also gave the green light to the improvements and expansion  of the health centers of Pocrí and Pozo Azul, as part of the “ My Health First” program.
