THEATRE: Shades of unreality and Dracula

IF YOU ARE  a fan of the gothic literary era, when ghosts, goblins and other things you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley, were the rage,  you will certainly enjoy “There Are Such Things a play about the descent into unreality.

It’s the latest presentation of the Theatre Guild of Ancon (TGA)which begins its run today  and continues through  Oct,-15, and October 20-22, and  27-29

It tells the story of a journey that Jonathan Harker, a young English lawyer, makes to  Transylvania, Romania to meet very mysterious client. He is accompanied by the imaginary presence of his fiancee.

As Harker gets to know this eccentric gentleman who has hired him his moral and physical reality beginSSto emerge.

If that’s not enough to get a few of your neck hairs rising read on.

“There Are Such Things” is an original adaptation of the first part of the book “Dracula” by Bram Stoker,and  is also the second original work of Simon Tejera and Alfonso Grimaldo, who made their Guild  debut in 2015 with “The Joke Bureau .

ThE work has content for a mature audience.
