Trees down and flooding follow city storm
STRONG WINDS and heavy rain brought down trees, interruptedplane flights and caused flooding in Panama on Thursday, September 25.
Trees were felled in Cuidad Radial and the Santa Maria River overflowed its banks says the civil defense agency, Sinaproc.
The Civil Aviation Authority suspended flights at the Marcos Gelabert Airport in Albrook from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The storm also affected Panamá Centro, Panamá Oeste, Darién, Guna Yala, Colón, Herrera, Los Santos, Veraguas and the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca.
