multi-vehicle crash injures 12
A MULTIPLE VEHICLE collision in Ojo de Agua in the heart of San Miguelito injured 12 people, four of them seriously on Saturday June 18.
According to National Police Traffic Director, Javier Fanuco, the accident occurred when a truck apparently lost its brakes rammed and overturned a pirate busito and careered on to hit five more vehicles.
Drivers passing through the area and passersby rushed to offer assistance to the victims reports TVN 2.
A National Police patrol moved eight of the wounded to a medical center. The rest of the injured were transported by ambulance to hospitals.
It was the fourth multi-vehicle pile up in a little over a week, all without fatalities.
