OFF THE CUFF: Varela to talk of Panamas honest men

PRESIDENT Juan Carlos  headed to Washington, On Monday May 2  to address  the annual Conference of the Americas  on “the “success of the honest men of our country.”

Varela was invited as one of the speakers at the event, organized by the Council of the Americas (COA). which which will include some 250 business leaders.

Political and media representatives will also attend.

The president said that he hopeson Tuedsay  to avoid talking about the Mossack Fonseca case, and will instead discuss the “success of the honest men of our country,” reports La Prensa

Varela said that after his return to Panama  he will evaluate his state ministers, saying he will consider making cabinet  changes as he approaches the two-year anniversary of his taking office.
