OFF THE CUFF: Ex-Education boss faces corruption grilling
LUCY MOLINAR, former broadcaster scourge of politicians, who got to see the other side of the coin when she became Panama’s Minister of Education, was back on the hot seat on Tuesday, March 1 when she appeared before the the sixth anti-corruption prosecutor in the Avesa building on Via España.
She was there to answer questions about alleged cost overruns in the purchase of musical instruments for schools through the now defunct National Assitance Program PAN.
She suffered previous grillings over the $46’million schools food scandal and over cost overruns for school backpacks.
La Prensa reports that’s she did not comment to her former media colleagues upon arriving.
