600 Metro buses with mechanical woes
OVER 600 of Panama’s metro buses have mechanical problems according to Tommy López, leader of the Transport Drivers’ Union (Sicotrac).
He said the organization has offered to repair them.
“We know how these vehicles are repaired and following training in Brazil where they were built and he will offer President Juan Carlos Varela support in repairing the units.
Lopez said that currently the organization is helping to save the state $200,000 a day providing a public service to half a million users without the subsidy previously paid to the Mi Bus companyreports Critica.
