Interpol called in to trace Petaquilla boss
INTERPOL has been asked to help Panama track down Richard Fifer the head of Petaquilla Minerals and former governor of Cocle.
Fifer, who has a checkered past, and was recently the subject of a major expose by La Estrella, has twice been called to interrogation by the 16th anti-corruption prosecutor, but was a no-show both times.
He is is being investigated for allegedly committing the crime of fraud to the detriment of the Gold Dragon mining company having allegedly sold part of its concession in Donoso.
The file also mentions Kenneth Morgan, who also is linked to Petaquilla Minerals.
So far Fifer’s whereabouts are unknown, reports La Prensa.
