Martinelli family immunity lifted

THE IMMUNITY of three members of the Ricardo Martinelli family have been suspended by the judges of Panama’s Electoral Tribunal Electoral (TE)

The suspension applies to the  former president former First Lady Marta Martinelli Linares, and their son, Ricardo Alberto Martinelli

Bothe Martinelli and his son have fled the country, but the ex-president is due to appear before the Supreme Court, on Friday, December 11.

Martinelli is involved in several cases that are before the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the wife and son are involved in two processes that are being investigated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
