Gas prices down for 9th time
FILLING UP the gas tank will cost less this weekend as gasoline prices fall in Panama for the ninth time this year.
A liter of 95 octane gasoline will fall 3 cents (12 cents a gallon) and 91 octane will drop 2 cents a liter, (9 cents a gallon)
Diesel prices will drop 2 cents a liter says The National Energy Secretariat
The new prices start Friday October 30 and will remain in effect for two weeks.
The reductions are largely driven by a drop in the price of oil, which is below $50 a barrel. Prices increased by almost 7 percent on Thursday after hitting yearly lows.
