Two traffic deaths raise total to 126

A MAN   who decided to cross the Pan American Highway just 25 meters from a pedestrian bridge became Panama’s 325th traffic fatality of year at 11pm on Sunday. Oct. 25  near Deciembre 24 Xtra supermarket.

Fernando Pueeton was taken to the Irma Tzanetatos Lourdes Hospital, and later transferred to Santo Tomas, where he died.

A few hours later  another person was killed and three injured in a collision between a pick-up truck and a sedan in Guayabal, Los Santos. The sedan driver,  Leonel Alberto Pinto, died in the  Nelson Gustavo Collado Hospital in  Chitre rasising the fatalities for the year to 326, well over one a day. Two traffic deaths raise total to 126
