Three car crash on Bridge of Americas

A MASSIVE traffic jam spreading in both directions began midafternoon on Monday September 28, following a three car collision on the Bridge of the Americas.  

The incident, according to some commentators, was due to texting or cell phone use. No  injuries were reported, but the traffic chaos was made worse by heavy rainfall soon after the incident.

The bridge has scheduled lane closures for ten months as repairs and maintenance updates are carried out.
