Panama climbs in world football rankings
PANAMA has moved up in August from a FIFA world ranking of 65 to 59 but has some way to go to reach its world high water mark of 32, achieved in 2013.
Argentina continues to lead the world table, followed by Belgium, and Germany.
Mexico leads in Concacaf followed by the United States and Costa Rica. The Caribbean teams of Jamaica (4) and Trinidad and Tobago (5) rose, while Panama follows in sixth position.
Panama, now directed by Colombian coach Hernan Dario Gomez, has two upcoming friendly matches one against Uruguay on Friday, September 4 and the other against Venezuela on September 8.
