Panama traffic deaths reach 232
ALTHOUGH there has been a slowdown in the rate of traffic fatalities on Panama’s roads the number of deaths is on track to exceed the total for 2014.
The Traffic Operations Management (DOT) said Friday, July 31 that 232 deaths have been reported in the country so far.
426 were killed in 2014 in a country with less than 4 million people, a death rate far in excess of many cities and provinces, and even countries with larger populations.
