Waterless Sunday on Avenida Balboa

RESIDENTS of upscale residential towers on Panama’s Avenida Balboa will spend the greater part of Sunday, May 17, without water. The Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) reported Saturday that due to repair work on a pipe at the  San Felipe Neri Market water supplies to buildings of Avenida Balboa and other buildings of city center will be cut from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The areas affected are: Avenida Balboa, Salsipuedes, Avenue B, Calles Veraguas, A. Mendoza and J. Sosa, along the avenues Eloy Alfaro and Pablo Arosemena.
“The supply suspension of is because of the change three-valves, six, eight and 10 inches, between the San Felipe Neri Market and the Seafood Market, in order to optimize the supply of drinking water in the area,”said the institution.
