Server fault blacks out Newsroom as visits pass 4,000 a day

ON MONDAY Evening, April 14, a server problem blocked out Newsroom Panama for all readers including the 1,300+ who receive the headlines early in the morning on the RSS feed. Our sincere apologies.

Our tiny team worked late into the night and through the day to solve the technical problems and to have the stories you should have received on Wednesday ready for when the went  back on line.
The glitch came at a time when Newsroom was hitting a new high of over 4,000 page visits a day pushing us well above our monthly average of 92,000.
