Media blamed for suspended judges health problems

SUSPENDED Supreme Court JUDGE ), Alejandro Moncada Luna, is suffering deteriorating health problems because of “political and media attacks” says his lawyer, Enrique Domínguez.

He made the statement on Wednesday, March 4 after his client left the premises of Panama’s Forensic Medicine center , where he was taken for medical evaluation.
Moncada Luna who had surgical intervention last December, due to a heart condition; is under house arrest and is being investigated for alleged unjustified enrichment, money laundering, forgery of documents and official corruption; after media revelations of the acquisition of property worthemillions of dollars
Dominguez referring to the psychiatric evaluation performed on Moncada Luna, said “… remember that emotions, ideas, impotence, causing frustration to the point that we know what is stress, and that triggers cardiovascular pressure ” The medical evaluations followed Moncada Luna’s nonappearance at the Nationsl Assembly where he is being investigated for alleged health reasons. The prosecutor noted that at the time he appeared in a TV interview looking well.
