PAN SCANDAL: Tamburrelli out of hospital, able to testify

FORMER National Assistance Program (PAN)director Jiacomo Tamburrelli was discharged from hospital on Sunday. December 28 after undergoing surgery for heart problems.

 His cardiologist said that when he has recovered he will be able to attend the delayed investigation by the Second Anticorruption Prosecutor when he is expected to reveal names of some prominent figures allegedly involved in the PAN corruption scandal
Tamburrelli says he has been threatened and some close family members have fled the country.
The former official remains under house arrest because is accused of alleged embezzlement
