Panama’ swimmer hopes to peak for Olympics

PANAMANIAN swimmer Edgar Crespo said Sunday March 8  that he hopes to be peaking at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.

"My goal is to go there at the age of 27 at the peak of my career," he said after winning a bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke in the South American Games reports  La Prensa.

He will now compete in the Crespo Central American Games in Veracruz, Mexjco, in November. He is the defending champion in the 50-meter and 100-meter breaststrokes, and won silver in the 200-meter race in 2010.
