Linares will remain as first lady while on campaign trail

MARTA LINARES, the wife of President Ricardo Martinelli, will continue with her work in the Office of the First Lady despite accepting the CD nomination for vice president.

The announcement came from MARTINELL ON Thursday, January 30, during atour of the  Frank Gherry Bio Museo on the Amador Cuuseway.

Different sectors have questioned Linares remaining in the Office of the First Lady as she campaigns as the running mate of presidential hopeful, Jose Dominion Arias.
Martinelli said that his wife will continue in her duties as long as he is the president.
Asked if the CD will sign the Electoral Ethics Pact as Linares stated on Wednesday , Martinelli simply said this is the case reports La Prensa
