Tweeters to dominate Panama elections – guru

Life on Panama’s roads could become more dangerous in the months leading up to the general elections if the growing community of Tweeters resort to using their cell phones while driving.

A few months before the elections in Panama, most politicians are preparing a new way to campaign … through the Internet.

Accorfing to Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí, communications and political consultant online social networks will be the key in this election.
"Whoever loses in the networks surely loses at the polls," he said.
"A president must tell Twitter what he thinks, reflects and learns," he said.
