Arias denies use of state funds for election campaign

CD presidential candidate José Domingo Arias today denied that he is using state funds for his campaign.

Arias' statements arise after the electoral prosecutor's office  announced it will be investigating the rehabilitation of athletic fields in a number of communities.

Arias, who has presided over the opening of the fields, said "the resources are private and are born of the funds that I have and that I am using to help the communities."
He sais that the rehabilitation projects have been done at the request of young people in the sectors where they are located, and that the projects will not have any kind of partisan political elements that identify his campaign with the upgrading says La Prensa
